Happy Sunday everyone. Our 'Fight for the Fatherless' family prayer today is inspired by our friend Aubrey David, the Trinidad and Tobago International footballer who shared his story previously which is available on our Facebook page. ————————————————————
This picture of Aubrey celebrating with the fans at the end of a game reminds us at 'Fight for the Fatherless', that we have the ability to give happiness not only to ourselves as a result of reaching our dream but to share that happiness with so many others, who you will find will come along to follow and support and want to be a part of your success and your journey.
So our prayer this week, is that you would see that and see how different your future might look perhaps from how your life looks now. Maybe up until now it’s felt like no one is supporting you in the way you would like or choosing to come alongside you. Our prayer is that despite this, you would find the strength to hold on and to never give up on your dream. A desire to keep working on your character and your talent and make sure that you reach your full potential. ————————————————————
Our prayer is that there will come a time, when that support will start to become available from others, on top of the support that is already here for you from Fight for the Fatherless but our prayer is also that you would know, that until that time, you are more than capable of doing great things on your own with the abilities God has placed inside you.
We pray that especially throughout this week that you would realise that in getting to this point often alone has not been purely by accident and that it has been a part of a plan to help you become the stronger person that you are today. Finally we pray that you would one day experience the satisfaction, of knowing that your journey has inspired others, who will be just as delighted as you are, that you chose never to give up on your dreams.
Have a great week everyone and God bless.
